Simple Present Tense

TENTANG SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE ;

Jika diulas, Simple Present merupakan sebutan yang didapat sebab;

- Kenapa Simple?

Karena tidak menunjukkan sedang terjadi (continous) ataupun telah sedang dilakukan (perfect).

- Kenapa Present?

Karena waktu mengerjakannya adalah saat ini.

Walaupun begitu, Simple Present merupakan salah satu bentuk yang paling sering digunakan. Simple Present menggambarkan fakta yang memang terjadi saat ini, sejak lama dan akan seperti itu kedepannya. ataupun untuk menggambarkan aktifitas sehari-hari.

DIGUNAKAN SAAT ;

1. Menggambarkan fakta yang telah terbukti secara ilmiah.

2. Aktifitas sehari-hari.

Adapun keadaan didalamnya, diantaranya;

1. Menunjukkan perasaan (feeling), indera (sense), pikiran/pendapat (mental state), dan kepemilikan (possession).

Contoh : I knows you very well.

2. Fakta.

Contoh : My mother is woman.

3. Pekerjaan Rutin

Contoh : I sleep every night.

RUMUS ;

Ciri Simple Present Tense pada  rumus dasar verbalnya adalah menggunakan Verb 1 (S+Verb 1).

Sedangkan kalimat nominalnya S + ToBe (am/is/are) + nominal (adjective/noun).

Selain itu, pada subject she/he/it, pada kata kerja ditambahkan -s atau -es dibelakangnya.
